Dear Youngziners,

We are back after summer with our first Fall issue this week. We have some exciting news to share, which I will do so over the next two blogs.

This week, we would like to introduce Youngzine's partnership with Crack The Books. Crack The Books will feature news articles from Youngzine on their iPad app, designed especially for young readers.

Crack The Books™ are a series of highly interactive digital books for the iPad. Easily adjustable reading levels and built-in tests allow parents to customize books to match their child's reading abilities. Children can explore different forest biomes on a 3D interactive globe, experience deep-sea creatures up close in a submersible they control, adjust animal populations in an interactive food web, and much, much more.

Each book contains hundreds of state-of-the-art interactive features to not only help kids better understand the content, but also find joy in reading and learning. With multiple books covering earth sciences and many social studies books on the way, Crack The Books will help your child learn about the world around them, while becoming a more engaged, confident reader.

You can visit Crack The Books to learn more and start a free trial of their most popular book, Pines to Vines, today!

Check the same space next week for more exciting news!
