Compact Discs were all the rage in the 1980s and 90s, until iTunes and iPods came along.

Yet, those shiny discs are quite cute, and people are finding all kinds of uses for them.

Can you think of a creative use for CDs? The 3 most creative entries will be declared winners!

You could use CDs for casting light onto walls as a cat toy. Or use string to tie some into a row and tie them to a tree as a decoration. Or put some into a CD holder and use them as retro flare in a room. You could cut them into small bits and glue them onto shoes and post it on Pinterest or Tumblr and get a hundred views and likes.

get a clear plate, cut up the cd , and glue the bits on it

You cut the CD in to 1 inch pieces and find an old bowl you no longer need/want then you use adhesive glue and glue the CD pieces in the bowl.

You can actually use them as hovercrafts. You attach the end of a balloon to a small plastic tube with one end flattened out to the side. Then, pull the balloon's top through the cd's center, the plastic should stop it. Lastly, blow up the balloon and place the cd hovercraft on a flat, hard surface.
