What you see is not a glitch and certainly not purposely done. Let me explain the process of approving comments and responses a bit, so you understand.
You may have noticed that when you comment to an article, your response do not automatically go up because at Youngzine we want to make sure our readers are safe. We often receive a lot of spam attacks where bogus and malicious comments are sometimes registered on the site. We review comments before publishing to ensure they are genuine and only from our registered young users. It can take up to 24 hours for approval of comments since we have a small staff :(
In this instnace, since it is a contest, we like to give everybody an opportunity to participate and guess. So we hold back publishing the right answers (and in some cases, all answers) for a week, until results are announced. So answers from others who responded before you were also not published till much later. You were the sixth to respond in order. But unfortunately you would know that only when all the comments actually go up on the site.
Hope this answers your concern. We are sorry and it must be really disappointing. But as you can see, very few got the answer right. We are proud to see you had one of the right responses and you should feel proud too. I am sure you will do well in future contests.
