Save Today For A Better Tomorrow

We started out as humble creatures, who used to live alongside Mother Nature and thrive along with her. We had a peaceful life, plucking fruits from trees, roaming around and even hunting. But modernization was catching on man. Soon we discovered the wheel and used that for transport, then we got fire, and gradually we got civilized.

During this process of getting modern, we were slowly but surely going away from Mother Nature. Our relationship was getting cut.

Us today: We have the money to make a jet go 7000 miles per hour. We have the money to build skyscrapers all over the world. Only if our government and us could focus a bit more to make the world a better place to live in.

They are many environmentalists around the world who are preaching the 3R’s and asking us to stop the use of plastic bags. We all listen enthusiastically and make a promise that we won’t pollute anymore, but after a couple of hours or at the maximum 2 days, we are littering on the road. Only if some magical force could put a chip into our brain so that we will stop polluting as much as we can. That would certainly help, but the chances of that happening are very slim.

If we don’t start today, it will probably be too late and in case you didn’t know there is already a gaping hole over the Antarctic. So fellow mates can we all please unite and hold our hands together and fight this enemy. Would you want the world’s temperature to increase another few degrees and make it stuffy and uncomfortable?

Mother nature made humans and we are returning the favor by killing her. She is also getting frustrated with us and unleashing her wrath with devastating natural disasters. I can’t blame her. Frankly speaking, I would have done the same if my children tried to kill me. So people of the world, can we please unite for this common cause and stop polluting.

We can help in simple ways. We can stop using Petrol and Diesel cars and switch to pollution free cars. We can at least be bothered enough to switch of our air-conditioners when we don’t need it because it releases CFC which is a major pollutant. We can even help by planting trees.

Hope you enjoyed reading this, I hope you make a difference.

I really like your article. I just wish that all people could try to stop littering and other things. Each person just trying a tiny bit would help a ton.

This is the best article I've ever read. It is the basically the article of truth.

I agree with the article. We are killing Mother Nature. I don't like it. I'm glad some people are aware of it.

@ sammy 02! global warming is causing the depletion of the ozone, they are interconnected.

Yes, I understand that. But the thing I wanted to say is that even if the Ozone hole problem is done away with, the problem of Global Warming will still remain. CFCs were a major cause of the Ozone hole depletion, but since it's use has been reduced to a large extent, the Antarctica hole isn't a major issue. Otherwise, it was an eye-opening article. Good job!

The ozone might not be a short term prob but in the future its gonna affect us badly because the ozone hole is still getting depleted slowly. Btw thx :)

Global Warming is a more threatening problem at the moment than the Ozone hole. Just like the world came together to phase out CFCs to prevent the Ozone hole from enlarging, the same can be done now!
