I wonder if figuring out whether Jupiter and the Sun are made out of the same materials has to do with the theory that Jupiter and the Sun were a sort of partly formed binary star system. Jupiter would have been the other sun, except it wasn't big enough to begin the nuclear fusion necessary to make light.
I thought they have already confirmed Jupiter as having a rocky core. From what I now, Jupiter is made up of four layers- Hydrogen and Helium gas as the outside-most layer, Liquid Hydrogen and Helium, Liquid ices and methane, and at the center, a dense, rocky core. But science is always being rewritten.
Juno exploring Jupiter? See a connection?
Hopefully while i'm living somebody will find a way to go on a planet!
they are lucky they didnt get sucked in to the atmosphere
If I were the people who were setting up this thing I would be really nervous. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
