Billybobjoe says that her parents knew all about this supernova business themselves. It is possible that her father must have seen it and she was present. He kind of gave her the credit because they knew she would be the youngest to do such a thing and she'll get all the attention. It's just an idea. No one can be sure.
What if she is wrong? Then, LOL.
Probably just a stroke of luck.
Lucky or astronomical genius? I wonder.
