Does anyone have any thoughts about the US school system? I've been thinking about this a lot lately. For instance: Why do we have a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum? in a country that celebrates the individual? Why don't we have a skills-based learning system, instead of a "grade" system, where if you don't perform well enough in an area, you can be held back? Why does bullying happen? is it because people feel inferior, so they act superior to another person to make them feel better? if the last query is true, then, instead of stopping bullying, why don't we move to a system that makes learning special for every person, while teaching them to think independently and creatively, and building on skillsets that they already have?
I agree with this although I am part of a online school where you learn by what level you are at and can pick projects about your interests. I wish that every school was like this.

I heard about it and it was so sad. Chrisrina was my idol.
so here are some thoughts- I agree that shootings are horrible. they are tragic. and i mourn with you. Here's where I don't agree: guns should be legal. Think about it. taking away guns from people doesn't stop criminals from getting a gun. It makes it harder, yes. But- Criminals don't care about the law. They will find a way to get a gun, while the rest of the population doesn't have one. How many shootings do you think would happen if the criminal knew that every person in the target area was armed with a gun which they knew how to fire?

Does anyone like the bands Sleeping With Sirens, Slip Knot, Black Veil Brides or Queen? Just wondering, they are wonderful bands. They are heavy metal/screamo, rock and emocore/punk pop bands.
I'm really sad. My uncle just had to put down one of his dogs. (Euthanize) The dog had a lump on it's spleen and some weight issue. I will miss him dearly. R.I.P Henry
