If you are a young artist, poet, storyteller, or have some interesting information or an opinion to share, here is your chance!

Youngzine has recently changed into an environment/climate literacy platform. In keeping with our direction, we encourage you to send us submissions on these themes.

You can write on nature, culture, society, climate, conservation, actions people (or you) are taking to help the environment or even an opinion piece on policies related to the environment. 

UStory

  • Fictional short stories and personal narratives
  • 500-1000 words

UReport                    

  • Reviews of a climate fiction book, or a travel/cultural experience, or something factual that fascinates you
  • Opinion and Nonfiction pieces
  • 500 words 

UArt

  • Pictures you have drawn, painted, etc., images you have created using computer software/programs, or photographs you have taken
  • Please submit as a .jpg file

UPoetry

  • Any format of poetry!
  • Several stanzas
  • If your poems are very short, consider submitting several that can be published together!

  • Your work must be original! We want to see your work and read your words, not someone else’s.
