Thanksgiving is a day filled with thanks
And lovely smiles with delicious turkey - Yum!
I remember my parents for all the great things they do for me
They are considerate - One thing I work to be
I remember my friends for them to give me company and cheer me up
My friends and parents are always there for me - reaching out with a helping hand
Then I am thankful for enough money to feed
Then we have things that to live we don't need
I remember my teachers who help me day after day with work to do
I hope to help someone too!
Now I sit here at the dinner table, with a delicious cooked meal before my eyes:
Delicious turkey, mashed potatoes, lemonade and more
I remember who and what I am thankful for once again
My parents, my friends, enough money to eat
One of the most people I hope to help and them to feel thankful towards me:
My loving parents, yet without them, I wouldn't be!
