on youngzine there are six major sections.
they are: world news, science and tech, our earth, society and arts, u write, and playzine.
world news:
this area is made up of articles, videos, and sometimes polls about politics and other worldly happenings.
science and tech:
this is the same thing as world news except it is about science and technology.
our earth:
same thing about the environment.
society and art:
same thing about society and arts.
u write:
this is stories, poems, reports, and reviews written by youngziners.
playzine:
this is games, videos, comics, and contests.
Hi writergirl! In youngzine you explore through World news, science and tech etc. In the UWrites are mostly poems written by other kids. Play zine has games such as Simon FaraFalla and Centipede. It also has UJoke. Post U Writes for points. post comments for points. And win contests for points. You also win points for passing quizes. ( i think ) That's pretty much everything!

Hey Editor, Um, Just wondering' what's a bronze comentor and silver writer????
Right now there are 3 different badges that you can get on Youngzine, Explorer, Commentator and Writer. The Explorer badge is for getting points for looking at lots of articles and do quizzes, the Commentator badge is for getting lots of points for comments and the Writer badge is for writing articles, I have a writer badge, even though I haven't written an article yet, so I guess that's for pointing out lots of typos in article, so that could be another way for you to get a Writer badge. All the badges have 4 levels, the first one is green, the next is bronze, then silver and then gold. And the colour of your highest badge, will have that colour as a square around your profile picture, so if the highest badge you have is green then the square is green, if it's gold then the square is gold.
