Today, there was a huge tropical rainstorm...
Riding down the streets on my bike was a challenge...
The water on the main rode were up to my knees and above!
I was soaked to the bone when i got home and it turned out my yard was flooded too!
By the gate was flooded enough to almost drowned our pet rabbit, Storm!

Our house started to flood during the same rainstorm. Water was rushing from under our front door. Megann was freaking out.

The water was not clean either....
it was sewer water..(EW)
And there were big Centipedes in it!
My Mom got one up her leg!

It also started to flood on our deck!
It made river through my up stairs and flowed down the steps to the down stairs!
We had to bail it out!

I loved all of your articles! They are very well written, and very informative. My favorite was probably your latest one, The War That Killed My People. As for my writing career, I've written a LOT of articles. Check some of them out, and please comment and enjoy! :)

I like almost all of them. 5.I am reading the Peter and the Starcatcher sieres. I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6.I don't know. I don't really like any of them and I don't really hate any of them.

U Travel would be a place for people to tell travel stories and talk about dream vacations. It would be just like U Chat, except travel oriented.

Well, we dont recomend changing user name, because it is likely that the system is getting confused. We will look into this issue, and it might take us a while to fix.

Maryd: If your comment is rejected, you lose the points that you are given immediately when you make that comment. If you see points dropping more than they should, do let us know. We had an issue recently that we fixed.

We don't reject comments unless they are -

Not appropriate for our readers or use inappropriate language
A personal or disrespectful comment in response to another child. We want everyone to feel comfortable expressing their opinons on Youngzine.
If we get too many comments such as "wow", "cool", "???" from the same child. Our points system is really to encourage reading and understanding of the article. We want the comments to be fun reading too, and having a discussion with others your age.

Do you get more points for longer comments, or does every comment give you the same amount of points?

Only one comment per article is awarded points and length does not matter. Points are to encourage reading, but having a discussion with others, asking questions that the articles triggered in your minds etc.. that is the real purpose of Youngzine, we hope :)

Okay I just looked it up. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious was NOT on the list of longest 5 words BUT, the longest in that list was 30 letters. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is 34. Maybe the words you saw were MADE UP. NOT REAL.
